By the time Quinn gets to her car, she feels exhausted. She’s panting and her chest aches with the exertion and it’s only when she looks down that she realizes she’s still wearing the hideous pink bridesmaid dress.

Rachel was supposed to be smarter than this.

It wasn’t even supposed to get this far. Rachel was supposed to be intelligent and reliable and Quinn had been so sure that the halo around Finn’s head would have dimmed as the bright lights of New York started getting closer and closer. But if there’s one thing about Rachel Berry, it’s that she always does what Quinn isn’t expecting.

Since she’s being so honest with herself and everyone else lately, she may as well admit that she admires that about Rachel almost as much as she admires her drive towards her ambitions.

Quinn slams a fist down on the top of her car, but it’s a weak hit. She’s tired and defeated and her anger at Rachel for being so… careless with her future, has taken a lot out of her.
